Holy Week begins and with it, the programming of religious events. The parishes of Xàbia celebrate special activities on the occasion of this event.
After the celebration of Palm Sunday, yesterday April 14, with the traditional blessing of palms in the Convent of the Augustinians and subsequent procession until arrival at the Church of St. Bartholomew where the mass was officiated, Holy Week begins in the historic center and the same act but focused on the Parish of the Sea in the Duanes de la Mar neighborhood.
