As every year, with the arrival of Holy Week, Xàbia welcomes the traditional Fira d'Artesania through the streets of the historic center. Dozens of stalls fill the historic Xàbia atmosphere and show the public various artisan products: decoration, food, textiles, etc.
The fair covers from the 19 from April to the 22 day. Four days in which the good atmosphere and animation will not be lacking in Xàbia.
Friday April 19
8: 30 hours: Traditional chocolate with mona for the participants of the Via Crucis of the parish of San Bartolomé. It will be distributed in the Municipal Market.
12: 00 hours: Opening of the Fira d'Artesania enlivened by the Colla Xirimitab's.
18: 00 hours: Show A conte, a cançó in the Placeta del Convent. Will be in charge of the company Rodamons Teatre.
Starting at 18:30 hours there will be an itinerant animation through the streets of the fair.
Saturday April 20
10: 00 hours: Opening of the Espai Broncanter dedicated to the sale of antiques, collector's items, decoration and vintage furniture. It will be in the Plaza de la Iglesia.
11: 00 hours: La Titiritienda proposes Teatrillo de puppet for all with Pelopincho and the balloon salesman y The gold nuggets. It will be in the Plaza de la Iglesia.
12: 00 hours: Workshop of orange juice and mandarin oranges native to all children, will be in the Placeta del Convent.
17: 00 hours: New session of Teatrillo de puppets in the Square of the Church destined to all the public of the hand of the Titiritienda. The story is titled: The mystery of the enchanted mansion and El Chivato.
18: 00 hours: Round of Contes: Comptem amb tu. Popular initiative that seeks to discover anecdotes, hidden or forgotten stories, poems, legends etc. A space in which anyone can express themselves in relation to stories and traditions and share them with parents, children, grandparents and friends. In the Placeta del Convent.
18: 30 hours: Sample of traditional dances of the different regions of Valencia by the Grup de Danses Portitxol. In the Plaza de la Iglesia.
Sunday April 21
Throughout the morning, in the Plaza de la Iglesia, traditional Fira de Pasqua, where local clubs and associations set up their stalls offering products to raise funds. The music will accompany the good atmosphere of this day.
12: 00 hours: Animation traveling around the entire route of the fair in charge of Rodamons Teatre.
18: 00 hours: Shows Histories of the passat in charge of Rodamons Teatre in the Placeta del Convent.
Monday April 22
11: 00 hours: Workshops for the little ones in charge of Art i Manya. Preparation of a socarrat traditional and modeling in leather. In the Plaza de la Iglesia.
12:00 hours: Music and dance with Klandestino by Lindy Hop and Spirit of St. Louis - Marina Lindy Hop.
Likewise, and like every one, the Soler Blasco Ethnographic Museum will have a special schedule during these festive days and will have the doors open from Thursday to Sunday. Thursday from 10 to 13 hours and Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 10 to 14 hours and from 18 to 21 hours.
