This past weekend different comxicotetions took place in which several athletes from Xàbia showed their great potential.
Nerea Mata Runner-up was proclaimed Provincial U18 in 2000 meters obstacles surpassing his Best Personal Mark, making a time of 9: 10.89.
At Interprovincial U14, Max Lawrence-Esteban took second place in the 80 meter dash by stopping the clock at 11.19. For their part, Marco García and Iván Gómez, each climbed to the third podium box in their respective test. García completed the 1000 meter dash in 3: 01.64, thus breaking his Personal Best while Gómez did the 80 meter hurdles in 14.27.
At Provincial Championship of Combined Events U-12 (60 meters smooth, length and weight); Edurne Mata got 624 points, thus ranking 25th in the standings. Edu Crespo was 241th with 26 points and Pablo Sapena ranked 222th with XNUMX points. All added points for the team from the province of Alicante that made the Interprovincial Champions proclaimed.
And in the performance of controls, the three athletes of Xàbia, Ainara Sapena, Joan Buigues and María Devesa managed to beat their best time. Sapena did the 3000 sprint meters on 16.02.26, Buigues stopped the clock at 10: 57.63 and Devesa did the 500 sprint meters in 1:28:13 and the mark was 3.49 in length.
