Xàbia is present twice in the Cycling Tour of Spain 2018. One of them is the well-known cyclist, Antonio Molina, from the Caja Rural-Seguros RGA team. A cyclist who at 25 years old has already been the protagonist in one of the first stages of the Spanish round.
Another of the Xabieros is José Eduardo López Lledó, referee of the Spanish National Cycling Federation of the Elite National category. Its task is the control that all cyclists meet the standards that mark the proper development of each of the stages.
Both Molina and José Eduardo López know each other and in each of the races in which they coincide, they usually comment on issues related to cycling and sometimes also, to the municipality of both, Xàbia.
Molina in the rest day visited the Hospital of Salamanca
Taking advantage of the first day of rest of the Vuelta, the cyclist, Antonio Molina was with his companions visiting the children admitted to the University Hospital of Salamanca.
In addition to the cyclists, the act counted Javier Guillén; CEO of Unipublic, Ernesto Moronta; president of the Spanish Association of Rural Savings Banks, Juan Manuel Hernández; manager of sports training, Pablo González de Castejón; CEO of RGA Cristina Granados; hospital manager, Jesús Juanes; provincial president of the Red Cross in Salamanca and Pilar González; provincial director of the Red Cross Youth in Salamanca.
This Tuesday returns the competition with the dispute of the tenth stage that will lead to the caravan of the Tour of Spain from Salamanca to Fermoselle Bermillo de Sayago, stage of 177 kilometers.
