The Valencian town of Chiva hosted, this Sunday, the first scoring test for the Open Mountain Bike Marathon of the Valencian Community - Bike Storewhere the runners Ade Moll, Alicia Margalejo and Dani Cepa were present.
The morning was marked by cold and wind. The route of climbs by track and long rocky and slippery descents due to previous rains was, for the male category, 64 kilometers and 2.200 meters of unevenness, while for females, 58 km and 1.800 meters.
Ade Moll and his partner for the Costa Blanca Bike Race, Iván Díaz, distinguished themselves from the rest of the riders by crossing the finish line in second place of the general.
Alicia Margalejo tried to keep up with her rivals in the first climb but due to physical problems she had to continue alone, entering third place in elite women.
Dani Cepa remained in first position of the Master40 category until kilometer 45 but some physical problems relegated him to fourth position.
