Four members of Podemos Xàbia, representing the entire group, met, on Thursday morning, with the mayor of the town, José Chulvi, to transfer different proposals and improvement issues in Xàbia. On the one hand, according to the spokesman of Podemos, José Vicente Catalá, the situation of access to the emergency entrance of the Health Center is an aspect that should be studied. "There are vehicles parked at all times in the same access and exit alley to the ambulatory, which impairs the access of patients with reduced mobility or in an emergency. It also means a nuisance attached to the service ambulance having to perform unnecessary maneuvers", indicate from Podemos.
Therefore, in the meeting with the mayor, have moved their proposal to act on this fact by providing a solution that leaves the road free. From Podemos they request that the Police make a report and evaluate the situation, "We believe that if it is of first necessity that the vehicles are parked near the Health Center for some reason, that an alternative is sought and that it does not hinder the emergency passage".
Music school
Another issue addressed in the meeting has been to create a Music School. On the annual controversy that few places are offered at the Conservatory of Music in view of the high demand for students who want to access, we can together some musical associations request the creation of a School of Music to accommodate possible future musicians in the locality and thus facilitate the studies.
In reference to this proposal, according to the spokesman of Podemos, Chulvi has said he has no record that the associations had asked for the possibility of creating a Music School. Catalá has transferred the mayor, who "With the facilitation or transfer of three classrooms, the great demand for musical studies at the elementary level that is manifested every year and subsequently passed to the middle level in the conservatory could be accommodated."
From the Circle We Can Xàbia believe that "A municipality like Xàbia can and is compatible, have a professional Conservatory of music and in turn, a Music School managed by the musical entities for a greater universalization of musical education, so we only ask three classrooms to train all students".
The members of Podemos have indicated the good predisposition of the mayor to study each situation and see the feasibility of each of the proposals.
