The spokesman for Podemos Xàbia, Bernhard Feiner, has expressed sharing the assessment that Compromís has made regarding the decision of the government team to lower the Property and Real Estate Tax. From the Círculo de Podemos they affirm that it is a "wasted" opportunity to invest the 3 million euros "in sustainable and, above all, structural projects."
Feiner has pointed out that this measure, "is a comfortable and easy patch that benefits more to those who have the most and does not provide a solution to people's problems. There were many ways to use that money better, such as the one already mentioned - by Compromís - so necessary investment in mobility, renewable energy or the notable lowering of housing for the people who need it most ".
Also, from Podemos Xàbia they have raised that with the budget it could create "a biomass plant that would reduce the volume of solid waste, produce electricity for almost 1000 homes and create qualified employment, year after year after year."
"Wouldn't this be better than saving homeowners € 78 and costing our municipality 3 million euros year after year after year?" Concludes Feiner.
