The circle of Podemos in Xàbia has submitted an application demanding the suspension of the PAI of the Portitxol Game "for not being urban land".
In the text of the allegation presented, it is stated that "The lands that are intended to be developed with the program of the PT 2 / 3 action units of the" El Portitxol "item exposed to the public lack all types of infrastructure so that they can be considered urban land".
To do this, it refers to the article 28 of the Law of Territorial Planning, Urbanism and Landscape of the Valencian Community (LOTUP), which states that "Urban land must be urbanized, possessing the necessary infrastructure to meet the basic needs of the people and activities that occupy the buildings that are built".
As they explain in the document of allegations, "The execution of the EPI of the 2 / 3 A and B action units of Portitxol's departure means the destruction of about 40.000 square meters of forest mass, in one of the areas of greatest ecological value of our municipality". They also remember that "To allow the destruction of environmental values to continue so that more houses or hotels are built is to focus on the loss of our identity, the loss of the natural conditions that have been made, that throughout history travelers and illustrious characters are they have moved ".
From Podem remember that "The scope of the UA, 2 / 3 of Portitxol, whose approval, is now being processed, has the same environmental values. And if it is approved, it will cause the same destruction and loss of assets" with respect to what has already been built in that area.
For all this they request "Carrying out the strategic environmental and territorial evaluation of the area, which serves to point out the areas of high environmental value, proposing conservation and protection measures. The modification of the ordinances, with the purpose of integrating the new buildings construction in the landscape environment they are in, having to at least require the planting of native trees in the building plots, and the visual minimization of the buildings. Town hall to promote social housing and the implementation of productive activities throughout the year".
