El Javea Town Hall will hold on Tuesday -15 in January- an extraordinary plenary session to approve the public exposure of the modifications introduced in the Preliminary Version of the General Structural Plan (VP_PGE) after the public participation phase
As explained by the Councilor for Urban Planning, Isabel Bolufer, in this period the reports of the sectoral administrations have been incorporated and the municipal department and the editorial team have studied and responded to the allegations received, proposing some changes that meet the citizen's demands.
Now, the City Council has to open a new period for the public consultation of said modifications in which interested parties may present allegations related to the alterations introduced to the previous proposal.
This period of public exposure will be of 20 days once it is published in the Official Diari of the Generalitat (DOGV) and -as it was done in 2017- in addition to consulting the documents at the City Hall offices (an exhibition will be set up in the House of Culture) or on the municipal website, it will be accompanied by an information campaign and explanatory meetings both in the Historic Center and in Duanes and El Arenal, thus maintaining the vocation of transparency and citizen participation.
Once this procedure has been completed, the proposal for a General Structural Plan will be taken to a plenary vote for its referral to the environmental body of the Generalitat Valenciana so that it can be definitively validated for environmental purposes through the Environmental and Territorial Strategic Declaration that will be published in the DOGV.
Remember that the General Structural Plan (SMP) is the document that determines how our municipal territory can be used and occupied; where and how can we build or build; what spaces are worthy of environmental and landscape protections, what are the infrastructures of the territory, the free and recreational spaces, the equipment and the relevant provisions.
