This past weekend the Lliga Autonòmica d'Handbol Platja started in La Vila Joiosa, being the first stage of this Valencian comxicotetion with which it seeks to maintain the thousand participants and continue with the rise of this sport in the Valencian Community.
In this first test, CH Xàbia participated with the categories of infant, cadet, youth and senior female, as well as male youth. The women's teams achieved full victories in all categories.
For its part, the male youth Aquafont Hermanos Mateo had a good championship, playing their matches until the final moments.
The children's Electrobombas Jávea won the first match with two sets to one against CBMP Marni from Valencia and the other two 2-0.
The cadet and youth teams also won their games 2-0 and the seniors were first in their group, for which they played the final in which they beat Marni by a clear 2-0.
At the end of the comxicotetion, the first training sessions for the regional teams were held to prepare for CESA, which this year will be held in Valencia at the beginning of September. On this occasion they had a wide representation of CH Xàbia.
The next appointment of the Autonomous League will be at Playa de Gandia on June 4. The Lliga d'Handbol Platja will come to an end, with the third day, on Sunday June 11 at Playa del Rey de Mareny de Barraques.
