La Segon Muntanyar Beach o Segundo Montañar de Jávea, also known as the Sèquia de la Noria, is located south of the Playa del Arenal. It has a length of approximately 1.700 meters, width about 50 meters and its degree of occupancy is low.

History of its rocky composition
This semi-urban beach is composed entirely of a rocky coastline of rough stone where you can see the size and extraction of this material for construction.
Sèquia de la Noria viewpoint
On the beach of the second mountain of Jávea is the Mirador de La Séquia de la Nória. It is a canal dug over the "toscar" that facilitated the entry of sea water to some salt flats. This exploitation, possibly linked to the fishing factory of Roman times, was modified in the late Middle Ages or in Modern times. They added the Noria, a mechanism with a large vertical wooden wheel that allowed the supply of the seawater flow necessary to obtain the optimum level.
What services
On Ultramar Avenue, from where you access the beach, there are various bus stops for the convenience of users. In the high season months you can access by car but finding parking is somewhat complicated. We did not find other services such as a flag indicating the state of the sea or a maritime or rescue surveillance post.
To access any service, the user can scroll to the Playa del Arenal Javea just a few meters. The same should do if you want to find a restaurant or store but thanks to the proximity of the beaches poses no problem.
By having a rocky surface entirely proper footwear is essential. Taking bath on the beach the second montañar not easy for those who are not accustomed task. Access to the sea depends on the wave but for the convenience of bathers there are stairs in different parts of the beach.
