Already in April of the 2017, after two outrages in zebra crossings, we requested from Podemos - for instance, to which we have never had an answer - measures to increase visibility in pedestrian crossings.
The requested measures were easy to implement, fast and practically free of costs, namely: "prohibit parking at 5 meters in front of a crosswalk; move or bury trash containers and replace bushes with crawling or low-rise plants".
In the last tragic hit-and-run, again the driver said that he had not seen the pedestrian. Other factors (speed, lighting, paint, etc.) may play a role in these accidents. But, wouldn't it be worth taking the requested measures if with them you can avoid even a single accident? Or how many more victims does it take before the enemy reacts? Town hall?
The neighbors are until the na …… of the degradation of the avenue. And nobody does anything ...
I totally agree. I have lived 3años on Avenida Juan Carlos, the parking lot to the avenue is very dangerous, the containers are part of the problem and the WORST are the people who park where you should not.
