Since the PSOE acceded to the mayor of Xàbia with José ChulviDo you know how many work extra costs have been paid? Zero. Not one. Neither yesterday, nor today, nor of course tomorrow, be it JOCA or any other who requests it. The opposite is a joke to the citizens and an open door to economically bog down the Administration, to open the bar for hard seekers at four pesetas who want to land in the Town hall.
That from 2011. But before? How did the PP when it was in the government? When we arrived, the Duanes Library was made but could not be used; the company asked 60.000 more euros to give us the key. We planted and said no, we fought on our own and with the technicians of the house we got a savings of 50.000 euros. Why? Because we are not all equal with public money.
And the municipal car parks that the local PP commissioned? 4.500.000 euros were paid in direct cost overruns and almost 6 million more indirectly: in total close to 10 million, the equivalent of almost five complete auditoriums. We continue paying that debt. Everybody.
And the unforgettable fudge of the works of the Historic District? That contest was won by Pavasal and instead of being awarded, they asked for an external report to assign it to Generala-Maybe, which was the sixth on the list (the sixth!) Result? Closed businesses, loss of neighbors, dilapidated works, bad image, 2 requests millions in
extra costs ...
And the reform of the Museum? What about the Cemetery works, the Casa del Cable and the Conservatory? Perhaps a company called Arción sounds familiar to them, which kept everything at that time, stopped it and then claimed. Was public money spent on meeting their demands instead of sticking to what was signed? The PP put to choose between the neighbors or the companies has not always been clear.
So things are irresponsible that the opposition speaks in their article of "Hidden auction". The tender was made following the technical report and the Contracts Law that its own party imposes from the Central Government. The same that does not allow us to choose companies from Xàbia, which favors large merchants (those that never lose and never respond for anything, those of "Look for qui t'ha pegat") and that does not hesitate to paralyze the Administration more healthy and closer to citizens.
What did they suggest we do? Adjudicate to finger? Prevaricate? Ask for customized reports to do what we want? That is part of his past, not ours.
To the past of generalized extra costs, double invoices, envelopes, translators, Fitures, Brugales, Formulas 1, barracks and glasses Noséqué that ruined the Comunitat Valenciana, we are shelving it all: parties, Institutions and citizens.
This government will fight the audience until the end and watch over the rights of Xàbia. We will continue working despite all the tripping and doing our best for the people, families and businesses of this town.
And the lessons? Well, they can be saved.
Neither can the PSOE donate lliçons to any loss of the 'shit' of the Auditori, of the open pool that is not farà, of the coastal path that is not farà that legislature, of the camí del riu that continues to be repaired- I know, from the Pont de Triana that is not fixed, to cover the privatization of the Fontana, from not fer res to the Punta del Ministre, from the adjustments to the Council of the Provincial Council and the 'distributions' also to the opinion that Jose recovers, d'homenatges a franquistes batlles, d'ajudes a music festivals on actuen familiars de regidors, to split contractes? Absolute majority, yes.
