The athlete xabiero Nizar Lakhlifi He was the best of the regional representatives that were the 10KM of Valencia. Nizar crossed the finish line in the 91 position of the general classification with a record of 32: 20.
While another xabiero, Youssef Ahatach, entered the finish line in the 111 position of the general with a time of 32: 35. José Manuel García Barragán, another outstanding athlete from the Llebeig Athletics Club, entered the finish line at the 124 booth with a 32 brand: 51. His friend Víctor Fernández, athlete of the Llebeig Athletics Club Xàbia, entered the 206 position of the general with an 34.10 brand.
Moha R. Younnes did not have his day. Tired of discomfort in the belly came out really uncomfortable about it. Although his rhythm was sensational because his legs responded, he had to stop at the step of kilometer five when he marked 15: 45 (3'09 "/ Km) because the discomfort was going further.
A record 10K
El 10K Valencia Ibercaja, which this year launches IAAF Bronze Label, achieved a record-breaking run in an edition in which a total of 10.838 runners crossed the finish line.
The first of the records was beaten by Chala Ketema (Ethiopia), who managed to overcome the best record of the circuit with his 27: 23. This makes the 10K Valencia Ibercaja one of the fastest 10K in Spain. In addition, the first nine classified crossed the finish line with marks lower than the 28 minutes.
In the female category, the winner of the Tsehay Gemechu test, who also broke the women's circuit record by stopping the clock in an 30: 15. Tsehay was followed by three more athletes below the women's circuit record, which was in 30: 57 (achieved in 2018).
Another of the records of the day came from the hand of the athlete Trihas Gebre, who has achieved the women's 10K Spain record when crossing the finish line in 31: 39 (eighth of the general). Trihas Gebre thus confirms its great state of form in one of the fastest and flattest circuits that currently exist in Spanish territory.
For its part, the first Spanish athlete classified has been Juan Antonio "Chiqui" Pérez (Serrano CA) with a mark of 27: 59, as ninth of the general, thus endorsing his current high level.
