This past weekend the Spanish Trail Running Championship (Mountain Race) took place in Liencres (Cantabría) in which the athletes of the Club Atletisme Llebeig Xàbia, Ignacio Cardona and Ana González, who achieved excellent results.
The race, organized by the Club Deportivo Trail Costa Quebrada, consisted of a 16-kilometer route with a positive difference in altitude of 540 meters.
Cardona participated in the M-45 category, finishing second to Spain in its category, with a time of 1: 09.11 behind Ricardo Lanza who was proclaimed champion.
In the U-20 category, the xabiera athlete, Ana González, participated, who managed to be the 14th in Spain crossing the finish line in 1: 02.49.
