Nasio Cardona was second in the 'VII Mitja Marató Muntanya Ocaive' in Pedreguer

Pedreguer welcomed, with a great public atmosphere, the VII Mitja Marató Muntanya Ocaive, seventh of the scoring tests of Circuit Trail Marina. A mountain race that had a 21-kilometer course where success was taken by Dianenses athletes from Dénia Run, since both men and women were the great winners.

In boys, the fastest to complete the distance was Pol Rodrígues who invested a time of 1: 50.49. The second place went to the athlete from Xàbia, Nasio Cardona, from Llebeig Athletics Club Xàbia, with a mark of 1: 53.58. Third place went to benissero, Fran de la Cruz, from Entrena Benissa, with a record of 1: 54.07.

After having played seven tests, the Xàbia athlete occupies the third place in the absolute classification of the Circuit, being the best in his Veterans category.

Other athletes from CA Llebeig Xàbia who participated were Juanjo Vallés, who finished in 21st place with a time of 2.13.07, Javier Fernández in 24th place with 2: 14.55. Miguel Bisquert in 53rd place with a time of 2: 31.07. Eduardo Vallés in 58th place, with 2: 33.02. Rolf Jong in 105th place with 2: 45.20 and Ferrán Bernat in 174th place with 3.11.44.

In women, the best was Aida Pérez, from Dénia Corre, with a mark of 2: 28.13. The second place went to the athlete of Gata, Antonia Valero, of the Grup Espeleológica Gata, who made a time of 2: 35.39. Third place went to Mia Storm, of the Corremundos de Teulada Athletics Club with a record of 2: 35.54.

Short distance of 13 kilometers

In the 13-kilometer short course test, in men, David Pérez, from the Quatre Gats de Rótova, was the best with a time of 1: 06.26. The second place went to Raúl Miñana del Socarun with a mark of 1: 09.50. The third classified was Raúl Agullés, of the Grup Espeleológica Gata, with a record of 1: 10.42.

In women, the first to cross the goal arch was Rosa Lara, of the Gata Athletics Club, with a record of 1: 22.50. The second to go on the podium was Jennifer Wood, from the Grup Espeleológica Cat, with a time of 1: 27.30. The third place went to Ángela Gadea, from CE Bernia, with a mark of 1: 28.08.
