Cat of Gorgos welcomed the 'V Course Three Tossals', a test organized splendidly by the Grup Espeleològic de Gata in collaboration with the Department of Sports of the town hall. In this edition there were around 500 athletes who took part in a race that had many novelties with respect to those previously held.
For this year a route of 16 kilometers for athletes was prepared, another one of 12 kilometers for walkers and in addition different races for the lower categories were added.
The first to complete the course was the athlete, Pol Rodríguez with a time of 1: 18.18, followed by Ben Monsey with a mark of 1: 19.19, the third was Nasio Cardona, of Llebeig Athletics Club Xàbia, with 1: 21.13. The xabiero, with this result and after having disputed three tests, continues to lead the Marina Alta Circuit Trail, ahead of Fran de la Cruz and Pedro José Martínez.
In women, the best was the Dianense, Aida Pérez, with 1: 46.36, ahead of Rosa Lara with 1: 50.06 and Laura Salom with an 1: 50.45. It is precisely Aida Pérez who heads the general classification of the Circuit ahead of Laura Salom and Anto Valero.
Highlight the second place obtained by Ana Bisquert, in the Promises category, which made a mark of 2: 04.27 and the time of Gina Virueña, in the women's category, with a record of 2: 03.23, both athletes of the Llebeig Athletics Club.
In reference to the team score, the participating Llebeig Club athletes have achieved fifth place in this test.
