The maximum representative of this quintà, la Regina, Nara Rodríguez, beach handball player and student of the Higher Degree of Sports in Dénia, tells us how she is facing her year of festivities, a year that comes full of novelties and that will make them historic and unrepeatable.
"I really want to start the festivities. I have carried out the preparations with a lot of organization, to be able to combine studies and beach handball comxicotetions well. I have also had the help of my mother to prepare everything," says Nara.
Today's protagonist, who has always been linked to Les Fogueres de Sant Joan, lives this 2022 in a special way: "since I was little I have gone out with my mother dressed as a fallera. 6 years ago I was youth president, and now, fortunately, I can say that I am queen of the Fogueres of 2021 ".
A position that she will live and enjoy with enthusiasm and enthusiasm "and being myself, since it is one of the pieces of advice that they have given me and that has marked me the most", indicates the Regina of 2021.
The act that I look forward to the most is the Proclamation
Tonight the time will come to go on stage and be proclaimed as Regina de la Foguera 2021. Nara will be the center of attention and from then on she will live her dream, although for her, as she confesses, the best moment is the Proclamation, " This act is the one I like the most and the one I'm looking forward to the most. For me, this act is the start of the San Joan festivities".
Some parties that, according to Nara, "are going to be big, it will be the best year of all, and the one that will stand out the most for being three fifths." An unusual event that, according to Rodríguez, was a strange feeling at first because "each fifth wanted their year, but now I think that more than one of us prefers to celebrate these festivities in a big way, with the three fifths together."
