Nara Rodríguez is proclaimed Regina 2021 among the magic of the Nit de Sant Joan

12 June 2022 - 03: 14

A new appointment of Les Fogueres de Sant Joan filled the Plaza de la Constitución last night. The fifth and fifth performed the parade through the streets of the historic center until their arrival on stage. The traditional murta crowns and the typical rituals carried out on the Nit de Sant Joan opened the act of the Proclamation of the Quintà 2021, 'La Desastrà'.

The Councilor for Parties, Kika Mata and the highest representatives of the Quintà 2020 (queen, ladies and presidents) were the first to occupy the stage to welcome the protagonists of the night. The presidents of 2020, Zara Sancho and Javier Gavilà, gave way to María Liehr and Jorge Serra, presidents of 2021 to begin the imposition of bands.

Once the entire Quintà 2021 was on stage, it was time to call the Queen of the San Juan festivities. Nara Rodríguez went up on stage to the shouts and applause of the public. The Mayor of Xàbia, José Chulvi, was in charge of putting the band and gave way to the relief of charges. Marta Ortuño and her ladies, Blanca and Laura, passed the throne to Nara, Aroa and Andrea.

As usual, Xàbia and the newly proclaimed had the visit of the representatives of the local festivals (Casa de Andalucía, Moros i Cristians, Mare de Déu de Loreto), of the festivals of the region (Benissa, Calp and El Poble Nou of Benitatxell), as well as the Falla Dr. Zamenhoff of Valencia.
