February 21 from 2017 - 10: 46

The Civil Guard Jávea investigates the death of a man, 66 years old, resident of Beniarbeig, produced, apparently, by the attack of five dogs of dangerous breeds, owned by a resident of the area.

The deceased had left home, as another ordinary Saturday, to go on foot to a farm owned. The son, who took hours without news of his father, went to the farm and discovered the horrific scene.

According to the statement from the Civil Guard, the victim was on the ground, full of tears produced by animal bites. Legs and arms caught glimpses of the fierce struggle that had kept the man with the dogs.

The agents of the Guardia Civil investigation began reviewing incidents with dogs in the area, and
They went to a nearby house where the tenant had several dogs, according to some witnesses had reported. The officers found that it was five dogs, pit bull breeds and crossbred bullterier.

The dogs had no bloodstains, but realized that one of them was soaked, as if it had just been bathing, although the owner claimed that he had fallen into the pool.

Only one of the dogs had identification chip, and the owner did not have any documentation, authorization for possession or liability insurance, apparently, according to local police, had a history of a previous attack but with minor consequences.

Agents of the Judicial Police of the Guardia Civil in Jávea, took DNA samples from each of the dogs, being placed in shelters in the area by members of the SEPRONA, although the night from Sunday to Monday have bitten one of the caregivers and they have destroyed the cage where they were spending the night.

To demonstrate the autopsy and DNA tests, that these dogs have been causing the death of this man of 66 years, the owner would face a charge of negligent homicide.
