A new charge has come to the Councilor for Education, Equality, Youth and Children of Xàbia, Montse Villaverde. The mayor has been elected, at the regional level, as president of the Xarxa Jove de la Marina Alta.
La Xarxa, an integrated service within the Mancomunitat Circuit Cultural de la Marina Alta (MACMA), is made up of all the youth councils of the region, who work together for a common goal.
Villaverde takes over from Aitor Llobell and now starts a new job. "I assume this position with enthusiasm, energy and wanting to make a region and work for young people," said the new president of the Xarxa. The new president will be accompanied by Neus Mulet (Gata de Gorgos) as secretary and Víctor Bisquert (El Poble Nou de Benitatxell) and Rebeca Merchan (Calp) as vocals.
And it is that with the Xarxa Jove it is intended to join efforts and reach a greater number of people, constituting an instrument of cooperation and exchange for the development of comprehensive youth policies in all the municipalities of the region.
The Xarxa Jove works with the aim of promoting associations and participation of young people by creating a bond between all young people in the region. In addition, the Xarxa Jove works to promote educational and training activities for young people and promote all the youth information centers in each town
