The Paseo de Jaume I in the fishing district of Duanes de la Mar in Xàbia has experienced a great atmosphere throughout the morning. On the occasion of the celebration of the Mig Any of the festivities in honor of the Virgin of Loreto, the Festival Committee has organized different sports and recreational activities for the little ones, accompanied by music and of course, the good atmosphere created by the baret and brings together hundreds of people.
From early in the morning, the festive day has started with gunpowder, music and sports. Pilota game in the streets of Duanes and simultaneous chess have been the two sports that have started this morning.
Starting at noon, the party has continued with the opening of the baret. The grill, with its sardines and seafood tapas, and the drink have attracted the multitude of residents and visitors who were eagerly awaiting this event.
In addition, this meeting has been accompanied by activities for children with inflatables and the explosion of the balloon.
To continue the celebration, the Fiestas Commission has offered Valencian paella, thus making all attendees enjoy the moment of food. The Mig Any party of the Loreto 2023 festivities will continue until 18:00 p.m. with the sailor afternoon.
