The Meridià Zero de Xàbia Scientific Dissemination Association will present the new issue of its magazine Dau al Deu next Friday, November 5. It will be at the Duanes Library, at 19 pm and then there will be a workshop on radiation given by Pepe Pedro, professor of Physics and Chemistry at the IES Matemàtic Vicent Caselles Costa de Gata de Gorgos.
Pedro will talk about the different types of radiation and will carry out different experiences on cathode rays, X-rays or radioactivity.
Admission is free until full capacity is reached. On this occasion it is not necessary to make a prior reservation.
