This second edition of the 'Better Together' event is consolidating its position as a benchmark in the regional business calendar, as a meeting point for those seeking to expand their network of contacts, optimise their strategies and discover new business opportunities through collaboration and networking.
Dear Fran, what you write is a dialect. That is, the territorial realization of a language, in this case Spanish. Your way of writing and speaking it is dialectal. Just like what happens to an Argentine or a Colombian. The same thing happens with the English of NY, London or Edinburgh. Do you know what they are? Correct, dialects, diatopic varieties of the English language.
That is why talking about dialect indoctrination doesn't make much sense. Valencian (I suppose that's what it's all about) is – like every linguistic system – language and dialect at the same time. And it is taught like all languages are taught.
Greetings.
To talk about dialects, you should first learn what a dialect is. And I don't think that learning the language that is and has been spoken here for centuries can be understood as indoctrination. Perhaps you have heard this word, "indoctrinate", in biased, sectarian and intransigent circles. Surely you have never said it before in your life.
The best thing that businessmen could do is to forget about the city council that only wants local festivals and misery for children with dialect indoctrination.
