About five hundred people attended the presentation party of the Xàbia Democràtica-Ciudadanos coalition for Jávea that was held last Saturday at the Art Al Camp nurseries, owned by the sculptor Tony Mari. About half of them were foreign residents, especially Europeans. In fact, part of the speech given by the candidate of the coalition for the municipal Óscar Antón (XD) was in English. The other party in Castilian. Instead the number two on the list, Juan Ortolá (CPJ), spoke to those present in Valencia.
During dinner, there was a review of the municipal management of the five councilors that XD and CPJ currently have on the government team of the Town hall from Javea. Anton explained to Javea.com "This is because Xàbia Democràtica represents a large part of the foreign population of the municipality while Ciudadanos por Jávea does the same with those here". The alcaldable noted in his speech that "There has been a coalition thinking with the aim of seeking dialogue and understanding. We are not against anyone or against anything. We want to contribute to our management, to contribute to Jávea having a better quality of life."
