Mateo Carbonell, sailor of the Club Náutico Jávea, gets first place in Optimist A in the Great Valencia Trophy

The optimist A class sailor of the Club Náutico Jávea, Mateo Carbonell, climbed to the top of the podium in the Great Real Club Náutico de Valencia Trophy that was played this weekend with 64 participants.

With five races disputed, Carbonell achieved a second place, a third, a fourth and a fifth, which helped him to place himself in the first position of the classification. The second place was also for a sailor from the Club Náutico Jávea, Fernando Puig, who in his first regatta with the Jávea necklace achieved first and second place in the five rounds.

The sailor of the club Carlota Gómez was the third best of the entire test, and in the U13 category, Begoña Pérez Manglano was also third. While in category B, with 105 participants, Charlie Crosbie was the sixth best overall and the third in the girls-only classification.
