In just a few weeks, Xàbia Histórica will be filled with craft stalls at the 35 edition of the Easter Fair. An appointment that unites craftsmanship and tradition and for which 130 has interested people to participate, although for the moment, the organization is reviewing all the applications since only the artisans are authorized.
The Handicraft Fair will open its doors next Holy Friday, March 30 and will remain until Monday 2 in April. In addition to the ten places there will be a complete entertainment program for all the general public in which folk music performances with groups such as Xirimitab's, the Romàntica del Saladar, Rascanya or the group of Danses Portitxol stand out. There will also be shows for children, with stories, teatrillos, puppets and free workshops, and dance.
Plaza de Baix, Calle Mayor and Placeta del Convent will be the three areas that will be filled with textiles, costume jewelery, ceramics, leather and food, among others. Also, this great offer will be joined, on Easter Sunday, 1 in April, in the Plaza de la Iglesia, local associations, clubs and collectives with their stalls of typical products and snacks.
As a cultural complement to this event, the Soler Blasco Museum It will be open on Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 13 p.m. and from 18 p.m. to 21 p.m. Also the Municipal Market will have a special schedule and will open on Easter days.
And if so many requests do not "fit" in the streets of the Historic District, why not expand the offer for Duanes and the Arenal Promenade those days?
