Marta Ortuño and Ariadna Serrat, queens of Les Fogueres de Sant Joan Xàbia 2020

Les Fogueres de Sant Joan de Xàbia 2020 already have their highest representatives. Last night one of the first acts of the santjoaneras parties took place, the election of queens, ladies and presidents. The Miguel Buigues Andrés sports hall hosted this emotional act.

The Quintà de 2020 chose its protagonists by falling as Queen Mayor in Marta Ortuño, who will be accompanied by her bridesmaids, Laura Cardona and Blanca Amores. The new charges, which were elected by vote, before a Notary, took the stage called by their predecessor.

Also, the presidents of the Quintà 2019 appoint you their successors; Zara Sancho and Javier Gavilà take over and after thanking the confidence placed in their fifths in them, they stressed that they will work «A lot to make it an unforgettable year».

Regarding the children's protagonists, Ariadna Serrat was chosen, by lot, by the queen of 2019, Júlia Badenes, as the child queen of 2020. The position of bridesmaids has been for Olaya Parra and Edurne Mata.

In the Youth Commission, Mar Rodríguez and Romeo Lara will be the representatives of a large group of young party people.

As every year, this act has a solidarity aspect and on this occasion, part of the proceeds from the sale of tickets was destined to Aspanion-Children with cancer. The Councilor for Parties, Kika Mata, delivered, during the act, the check to Madelane Powell, representative of this Association in Xàbia.

In addition, while the vote counting was taking place, the public was able to enjoy a fashion show and regional costumes by Maribel Gilabert in which Toñi Bañuls Peluquería and Mª Rosa Martínez participated in aesthetics. The students of the Xàbia Rhythmic Gymnastics Club also performed a performance.
