The young athlete of the Escola de Atletisme Llebeig Xàbia, María Devesa, is the new cross-country fry category champion. This classic test on the calendar of School Cross It took place in the Alicante town of Sant Joan. There the cross country party was lived with the celebration of IV Cross of Sant Joan. On this occasion, the test served to inaugurate the Autonomous Circuit of the Athletics Federation of the Valencian Community, composed of punctual 11 crosses.
María Devesa was the best of her Alevín category when crossing the finish line with a time of 2.42, ahead of Anna Caravaca, 2.47 and Irene Cerdá with 2.50.
In this comxicotetion they also took the podium Marco García who was third in Sub-14 with an 6.03 mark. The winner of this test was the Ilicitano, Adrián Pineda, with 5.34 and the xabiero, Iván Martínez was fourth.
Another of those who had a great performance and earned him a third place was Pau Moncho, in Sub-16, who used a time of 9.49. Aymen Smaili beat 9.31 in this race, followed by Jorge Cerdá with 9.32. The fourth place went to another Xàbia athlete, Carlos González, who finished with a time of 9.54.
