Three Xàbiabikers moved, last weekend, to Albacete to participate in the Titan of La Mancha, an ultra-marathon MTB of 200 km and 3000 meters of unevenness. Proof that it was suspended from its planned date and was postponed to last Saturday 21 in September due to the torrential rains and floods of the strong storm that occurred in this area.
Due to the difficulty of the terrain by the storm and a start from the last positions with X participants ahead, the xàbiabikers had to leave strong from the beginning to get a good result. Rhythm that made Ramón suffer a spectacular fall in the Mills, for which he had to be treated in the ambulance and losing the group of his companions.
The tour offered a very rolling first part, with more typical rhythms of the road. Halfway through the race, they found a port of 5 km, with an average of 12% slope and a second ascent to the Mills with ramps of 19%.
Pepe and Edu traced positions and came to keep up with the race, finishing in fourth place in pairs, fighting for the podium until the end. For his part, Ramón arrived tenth in pairs, after a solo career.
