Last weekend, and as they have done for five years during the second weekend of August, neighbors and residents of Xàbia celebrated festivals of Portitxol.
This celebration, which began to organize a group of residents of the area after a long break, concentrated their festive events between Saturday 9 and Sunday 10 August. On Saturday afternoon the festeros and festeras of Portitxol went out in the parade to call the party to all the neighbors and at the end and after a great snack, "Toni the hostel" put the evening musical note.
The music and dances continued to be the protagonists of the day with a dansà de carrer by the "Grup de danses Portitxol de Xàbia i la colla de dolçainers".
