The Popular Party of Xàbia, as indicated in a statement, is receiving "a large number of complaints" from residents of the town about the maintenance of the municipal term. The complaints point out, as the popular ones indicate, that "there are streets where municipal services have not been seen for years. There are green areas that you can't even get close to."
The residents of Montgó, specifically those of Calle Piscis and Leo, have expressed to the popular their dissatisfaction with the municipal government for not addressing the problems that have accumulated throughout the street. Problems such as that the stop sign to join the Jesús Pobre road is on the ground, it is not known since when. Or that a tree has been allowed to grow in the street that forces them to invade the opposite direction of the road. Or that the last time the median hedges were trimmed, the same neighbors did it to walk down the street without the
branches and without the cables that are in the air.
On the other hand, in this same area, right at the crossroads of Pisces, Leo and Taurus streets, another complaint has arrived related to a ditch opened by Amjasa since last December, "without an iron plate to cover it and surrounded by fences that are more times at ground level than protecting from danger."
On Leo Street, another of the neighborhood criticisms is the lack of a rainwater network and the lack of urbanization of the only section of the street. As the residents of this road indicate to the popular ones, "there is a curb outside the alignment of the sidewalk, which invades the street, and causes danger since it reduces the space of the road and in a street without lighting, this curb has become on a tire buster. "
The action, as indicated by the neighbors before this complaint, "instead of withdrawing it, it has been chosen to paint the road marking of an edge line".
Faced with these requests, from Popular Xàbia they assure that "a government must guarantee the quality of life of
your neighbors and there is no better way than to get serious about cleaning ravines and green areas. As in the rest of the ravines in Xàbia, the one on Calle Piscis is also full of huge trees suffocated by the undergrowth that covers them, the neighbors are panicky that a spark will blow everything up due to lack of maintenance ".
The popular ones say that all the streets are important and there should not be first and second class citizens, so the municipal, technical services, Amjasa pass through its streets at least once a year.
