"Enough of feminicides! Enough of sexist terrorism! We don't want one less!". That's how blunt was the hundred people who joined in the violet night of Poble Nou de Benitatxell to show their rejection of sexist violence.
The last months are already known as "the black summer" Because of the large number of women killed at the hands of men, only in July did they take the life of one every two days. For that reason last night several simultaneous marches were convened throughout the State with which it was intended to illuminate the darkness with violet light.
Like other municipalities in the region, such as Xàbia and Dénia, the residents of Benitatxell illuminated the streets of their town in this color as they toured it, demanding more security for women.
