Vicent Serrat and Maya Serrat, from the Cadeal Motor Club, father and daughter, lament the lack of support, even from the sports council of the Xabienc town hall itself. Willing to face the championship with two cars, and in different categories, they may be able to face the entire comxicotetion.
The 19-year-old debuts with high expectations of being among the best in her group. She to date will be the youngest female pilot to run the Valencian championship. For her part, the veteran Vicent Serrat, current champion of class 2 will run again in the same category. Although, if he does not find enough sponsorship to be able to guarantee the entire championship, he will sacrifice the last two races so that his daughter can guarantee that he can run with all the guarantees.
Maya's great dream is to compete with her father in a joint program after making a great effort to buy a racing car for this purpose. On the other hand, Vicent regrets the situation: "It is very sad that not even friends and close people do not offer their help. We know how difficult this was, but we did not expect it to be so much. We will continue fighting to reach our goal, which is win the entire championship, but we are aware that if we can't, we will park the cars".
Both drivers appreciate the efforts of family, friends, their club and small sponsors, even if the help is not enough. However, they say "ara o mai let's go for it all".
