The children admitted to the Pediatric Floor of the Dénia Hospital have honored the service professionals, on International Women's Day. Throughout the month of February, pediatric patients, aged between 6-15 years, have been taking photos with the faces of the women who take care of their well-being: pediatricians, nurses, nursing care technicians, nutritionists and cleaners. .
The initiative, which has been carried out by the Hospital Pedagogical Unit, in collaboration with cuidArt -the hospital's art project-, is exhibited these days in the exhibition room of the pediatric hospitalization floor.
The exhibition, which includes around twenty photographs intervened with colored markers, has the motto: "Thank you for sleeping, raining and working day by day to build a better world".
The minors, in collaboration with the 2nd and 3rd grade students of CEIP La Xara, have worked to recognize women's work, using words, labels or "tag clouds" related to the event, such as: "forta", " valenta”, “treballadora”, “lluitadora”, “guerrera” or “dolça”.
