Schoolchildren Lady Elizabeth School planted, last Friday, a total of 100 trees in a green area of the top del Sol with the aim of obtaining a greener future in El Poble Nou de Benitatxell. The activity was sponsored by VAPF (the company that is carrying out the works on the new educational center) who made two buses available to the schoolchildren to travel from the school to the planting site.
In this day of nature, the students also received a set of surprise seeds to be planted in their homes. The mayor of El Poble Nou de Benitatxell, Josep Femenia, recalled that "When I was little, someone who knew a lot told me that there were three important things in life, to have a child, to plant a tree and write a book, and today you are already doing one of those three things, to sow life."
