The Poble Nou de Benitatxell left the bar very high in the XIII Minijocs of the Marina Alta getting the best results of its history. 30 local sportsmen gave everything in the different modalities and most played podiums.
Remarkable was the triumph of Victor Buigues Garcia, who took home three gold medals in butterfly, role and styles. But it was not the only one who played the golden trophy, in rhythmic gymnastics with hoops, Lotte Stevens, Julia Sala and Carmen Ahuir also placed themselves gold medals.
In padel, the pair formed by Ximo Pascual and Juan Buigues rose with the bronze. Karatekas Terri Marnell-Cox and José Carlos Reyes also played bronze. And in athletics there were two more bronze medals for Iván Gómez in the high jump and Marco García in 500 meters. In this last modality it is necessary to influence the fact that they were fry competing against children and that they reached the final 5, including the relays.
