Xàbia has today two special containers in which, in addition to recycling, it can contribute to the fight against cancer. In the hands of the Department of Services and the activist of Xàbia, María Ferrer, Ecovidrio (the entity that is responsible for the management of glass recycling in Xàbia) has installed two pink igloos in the Marina Alta square (opposite Post).
These are part of the campaign "Recycle glass for them" that will be in the municipality until the end of October. In these weeks, the weight of recycled glass containers in these containers will become a donation to the Sandra Ibarra Foundation for Solidarity Against Cancer, an organization that works for cancer prevention and research.
Both the mayor Kika Mata Like María Ferrer, they have encouraged all the neighbors and hoteliers to mobilize in this campaign and thus get a great contribution to this solidarity cause.
