The schools of Xàbia fill the streets with color and music with the celebration of Carnival

Finally, and with all normality, leaving aside the masks, the party of the Carnival It has been celebrated in each of the schools of Xàbia in a big way. Music, joy, dance, color and fun have been the main ingredients of this morning.

Each school center has taken to the streets to announce this traditional festival and show neighbors and visitors their original costume. Each school has dedicated its particular Carnival party to a different theme.

CEIP Trenc d'Alba

In the case of CEIP Trenc d'Alba, Carnival has been dedicated to 'The First Volta al Món' (first round the world) based on the educational project they are working on this school year. Pirates, tribes and the protagonists of this story: Magallanes and El Cano, have been the costumes of the different cycles of the center that have paraded through the streets of the Thiviers neighborhood.

CEIP Graüll

At CEIP Graüll, the chosen theme has been 'Un món de colors', also based on the project that is being developed at the center and in which the main objective is to make the entire educational community aware of the importance of caring for the planet through small actions. Fish, birds, rain, planets, suns or activists, who are the ones that move good deeds have been some of the costumes of the classes of this center that have walked the streets of the historic center of Xàbia.

CEIP Mediterranean

The school CEIP Mediterranean has dedicated the Carnival party to the Circus. Jugglers, strongmen or harlequins have been the costumes of the students of this school for the 2023 Carnival who have also walked the streets of the historic center of Xàbia together with the Graüll schoolchildren, both centers arriving at the Plaza de la Constitución.

CEIP Port of Xàbia

'Art' has been the theme chosen by the CEIP Port of Xàbia following the line of his innovation project, CUINNOVART. Schoolchildren have toured the different streets of the fishing district of Duanes de la Mar inviting family members, neighbors and visitors to participate in this parade.
