The most veteran local police officers receive their badge on the day of their employer, the Guardian Angels

The body of the Local Police of Xàbia has celebrated today, October 2, its party, that of its patron, the Guardian Angels. As every year, the plenary hall of the Town hall has hosted the institutional act in which the badges have been delivered to the most veteran agents for their years of work and dedication.

The chief steward, José Antonio Monfort, has highlighted in his parliament the great work of his colleagues: "Being responsible for a police service is a complicated task, although in my case it is easier thanks to the women and men who are part of the local police".

Monfort added that it is not easy to be a Local Police, "We live in an increasingly complicated society with more demands. In order to respond to all services we need more tools, training and personnel."

The chief intendant thanked the Corporation for the interest they put in to obtain the necessary means and to develop the work effectively, "We are clear about the path and our goal, we know what we want to be and what we want to do."

For her part, the councilor for security, Pepa Gisbert, in the absence of the mayor, he highlighted the dedication of the agents and congratulated them, "I only have words of esteem and gratitude for all the men and women of the Local Police for the service you do in Xàbia, every day they give us a permanent lesson by being at the service of citizens playing a complicated role. I feel fortunate to be in charge of the Local Police of Xàbia ".

Gisbert has expressed his intention to be able to get more seats of agents for next year.

Award

The distinctions were delivered by the councilor of security and the chief steward to the following agents:

For the 10 years of service: Juan Manuel Valderrama, José Ramón Sáez and Sandra Bertó.
For the 15 years of service: Carlos Palacios, Manuel Belmonte, José Miguel Caselles, Fernando Prieto, Alberto Giménez, Juan Mut, Josep Trullen and Noemí Molina.
For the 20 years of service: Fernando Gaona, Salvador Bertomeu and Vicente José Llacer.
For the 25 years of service: José Cholbi, Juan José Vallés and José Ignacio Muñoz.
For the 30 years of service: María José Ribes, Antonio Collado, Francisco Carrascosa and Tomás Cardona.
