This past Sunday, May 21, in Torrevieja the final of the Alicantina Interclubs League was played where all the gymnasts of the Club Deportivo Montgó Xàbia they climbed to the top of the podium getting full of medals and trophies.
On the one hand, the juvenile duo formed by Iris Vallés and Dana Betancourt became runner-up in the third phase and runner-up in the League overall.
On the other hand, the children's duo made up of Aroa Serrat and Marina Vidal and the youngest trio made up of Kornelia Lipka, Feliciti Kudliskis and Vega Serrano rose to the top, proclaiming themselves champions in the third phase and overall league champions.
Silver in the provincial phase of Cox
Likewise, the gymnastics comxicotetions now do not stop, and last Saturday, May 13, the Federation level gymnasts of CD Montgó Xàbia traveled to Cox to compete in the provincial qualifying phase where they also obtained great results.
The junior trio formed by Ainhoa Alonzo, Anete Millere and Leire Buitrago shone on the mat, getting the silver medal that almost tasted like gold.
On the other hand, the children's duo formed by Martina Fernández and Sarah Tachó, with a risky exercise, were fantastic, also getting the silver medal.
In this way, both teams managed to become provincial runners-up and give them a direct pass to the regional phase that will be held on June 10 and 11 in Xàbia, being the Club Deportivo Montgó Xàbia, headquarters of the organization.
