Xàbia will be the scene of the first edition of the Spanish and Latin American Photography Festival Red eyes which will take place from the 14 of September to the 20 of October in different rooms of Xàbia and towns of the Marina Alta.
Organized by the photography magazine, Red eyes, in front of Mike Steel and Mili Sánchez, this festival was born with the purpose of staying and having an annual appointment with fans and lovers of snapshots where they can meet the works of renowned photographers such as Tina Modotti, Luis Baylón, Pilar García Merino , among others.
Likewise, the festival will include exhibitions, conferences, round tables, workshops and networking spaces where current trends in Latin photography, the fields of visual language teaching and various topics related to this medium will be addressed.
New technologies will also be present at this festival with a photo editing workshop from the mobile phone. In addition, the Agrupació Fotogràfica de Xàbia will complement the program with its Photographic Rally.
