The Poble Nou de Benitatxell continues to reinforce the Health policy with a defibrillator to the municipal pool donated by the Lions Club. This device is added to defibrillators and oxygen therapy cases in local police cars that have made the municipality one of the most cardioprotected in the region.
This guarantees, for the first time, an unprecedented immediate response to the 24 hours of the day and the 365 days of the year, until the arrival of the ambulance and health personnel.
The Councilor for Health, Dirk Rheindorf, and the Councilor for Sports, Manolo Segarra, have thanked Lions Club for the donation of this defibrillator that will be decisive when saving the lives of many neighbors, in case of heart attack.
"Lions Club are always aware of the needs of the municipality and very involved, especially in this area. They have donated defibrillators and oxygen therapy briefcases to the police, tensiometers to the health center and now they have responded promptly with their generosity when we have asked them a defibrillator for the pool ", the aediles have stated.
