The business group XàbiaIdea, in collaboration with the municipal department of Tourism, is preparing a conference on traditional local products and cultural essence that will revolve around "Les Coques de Xàbia" one of the most typical dishes of local cuisine, registered as a brand own, and whose development supposes a whole ritual in many families or groups of friends.
The fair, which will be held on the weekend of 20 and 21 in April, wants to put in value a tradition that represents the essence of the "slow life", a social movement that bets for a calmer life, without so much hurry and that recovers the good customs, the healthy and local food and the socialization in public spaces.
As a novel attraction, the reproduction of a traditional bread baking oven that is being built next to the Arnauda riurau will be launched at the fair.
