The asphalting work that began on November 25 in the Cumbre del Sol, La Joya and Les Fonts urbanizations has been successfully completed within the planned deadline. The mayor, Miguel Ángel García, and the Councilor for Works and Services, María José Ivars, visited the roads to supervise the state of the work.
Pavasal, the company that awarded the work, has conditioned the road of the most affected points of Camelias, Dalias and Encinas in the Cumbre del Sol urbanization, as well as some roads in the La Joya and Les Fonts urbanizations. Within the action, in addition to asphalting, the clearing of vegetation and the previous sweeping, the lifting of caps to the definitive grade, the bacheo in discontinuous sections, road painting and cleaning and removal of remains of work has been carried out .
The project, funded by a grant from the Diputación de Alicante for financially sustainable investments, has had a total cost of 195.328,19 euros (VAT included).
