The sailors, Begoña Pérez-Manglano and Lucy Crosbie, will represent Club Náutico Jávea in the Spanish Championship

The sailor of the Optimist class of the Club Náutico Jávea, Begoña Pérez-Manglano climbed to third place on the podium, in the U13 category, in the Children's Sailing trophy that was held this weekend in Calp.

The test brought together the Optimist A sailors, as well as the top 30 Optimist B sailors, and was the last appointment to be part of the Valencian Community team that will participate at the end of the month in the Spanish Championship.

Crosbie, Jorge Momparler, Amelia Baker, Mauro Poveda, Elena Pérez Manglano, Liam Woods, Raül Martínez, Lucas Palomar and Jairo Castell. And the coaches Julián Viciano and Pedro Medina.

In the general category, the best classified of the club was Lucy Crosbie, who ranked 16th, a position that allowed her to access the select club of those who will participate in the Spanish Championship, which is held in Bayonne.
