The crystal clear waters of Jávea make each year count several beaches with blue flag award given by the Association for Environmental Education. This badge recognizes both the water quality and the services provided to the beaches. This year our town has three of them have gone to the Grava beach, Playa del Arenal, Cala Granadella and also the Club Nautico de Javea.
Yesterday morning the blue flags were hoisted in places that have taken the award and when they were present mayor of Tourism, Antonio Miragall, the councilor for the Environment, Doris Courcelles, as well as the Mayor of Jávea, José Chulvi. No doubt that Jávea has three blue flags on its beaches is added to the various tourist attractions and offers the municipality.
