Since 2013, the European Union of Pool and Spa Associations (EUSA) has been holding the EUSA Awards, the comxicotetion for the most beautiful pools and spas in Europe. A total of three prizes for each of the seven categories are those awarded in each of the contests.
The delivery of the 2021 Awards, the ninth that are awarded, will be in November of this 2021 in Barcelona. Among those selected to get one of the awards is the Xàbia company, Build. One of its pools is a candidate to represent Spain in the EUSA Awards 2021. It does so in two categories, the Domestic Outdoor Pool category and the Night Pool category.
The finalist pool is built almost on the edge of a cliff in Xàbia and it is an irregular pool, with about 83 square meters of water surface and 19 linear meters of lateral overflow. The pool has two submerged methacrylate windows, which overlook an interior room, with more than two meters of vision.
The entrance to the pool is made up of a platform where the access ladder is and in addition, there are two hydromassage loungers, with double exit. The ideal place to relax enjoying the spectacular views of the sea.
Energy efficiency
In addition, to promote the efficiency of the pool, the lighting is with colored LED lamps, which are controlled with a remote control. The filter pump is efficient, variable speed, consuming almost 80% less electricity than a conventional pump. The filtering load is made of glass, which improves filtration and favors saving water, energy costs and chemical treatments. Disinfection is with a saline electrolysis equipment, the disinfectant it produces is healthier, it does not irritate the skin or sting the eyes. The bathroom is much with all this is more pleasant.
The vitreous coating is by digital printing, with dark green almost black tones, which gives it a Balinese pool look. The hydromassage loungers are lined with pearly white mosaic, which makes this area sparkle and stand out both day and night.
Note that in the 2020 edition, Build It has already represented Spain with two other pools, one in the Night Pool category and the other in the Domestic Indoor Pool category.
