January 17 from 2019 - 11: 42

The councilor of culture of Xàbia, Quico Moragues, has collected this week the didactic suitcases elaborated by the Cultural Mancomunitat de la Marina Alta (MACMA) that they have prepared to recover and spread the traditions, parties and activities more deeply rooted in the Valencian popular culture, especially in the region.

Coinciding with the festivity, this Thursday, in Sant Antoni, the first of the elaborate suitcases talks about the customs and traditions surrounding this celebration in the region. The MACMA technique responsible for the project, Núria Gómez Bolufer, has explained to the mayor all the details of this pedagogical initiative, especially designed for schools to work in the classrooms: from printable to cut-out cards, audiovisual material (documentaries, songs or dances) ), a map that collects the celebrations for Sant Antoni de la Marina Alta and even a deck of cards to learn while playing.

The material will now be distributed to the schools of the municipality so that they can start working on them and sending them photos or works on how Sant Antoni is celebrated in their villages help to enrich the documentation that manages the commonwealth.
