The sports facilities of El Poble Nou de Benitatxell reopen next Monday

May 20 from 2020 - 15: 37

Next Monday, May 25, the majority of sports facilities in El Poble Nou de Benitatxell will reopen. This Wednesday morning, the mayor, Miguel Ángel García, the councilor for Sports, Toni Colomer, and the councilor for Ecology and the Environment, Jorge Pascual, have met with various municipal technicians to coordinate the resumption of activity and new safety and hygiene measures to be followed to exercise extreme caution in the face of COVID-19.

For now, the tennis, paddle, pilot, fronton and squash courts will open with a maximum capacity of two people and only one in the case of the squash court, given its small size. The hours will be from Monday to Saturday and, for the moment, only in the afternoon from 16:00 to 22:00. Sundays will remain closed.

As for the municipal swimming pool, it will reopen in phase 2 of the de-escalation, while the soccer field, where both soccer and athletics are practiced, will remain closed until further notice. The maximum capacity of the pool will be 6 people for each shift (one for each lane) plus the person in charge of surveillance.

As a rule, the distance of two meters must be maintained at all times, and it is recommended to wear a mask and gloves until you enter the slopes, as well as washing and disinfecting your hands before and after sports practice. Locker rooms and showers will remain closed.

Appointment system

To access the facilities, an online system of compulsory appointment will be implemented. The tracks will be reserved for one hour and then a half-hour space will be left for their disinfection, being the availability: From 16:00 to 17:00, from 17:30 to 18:30, from 19:00 to 20:00 : 20 hours and from 30:21 to 30:XNUMX hours.
